San Luis Obispo is a nice and busy airport with both general and commercial aviation utilizing its facilities. It is a controlled airport within class D airspace. I have only landed at this airport once; at Thanksgiving, I was bring home a friend who was attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. To date, this has been my furthest cross country flight and only time I rented an aircraft overnight.
