Oceanside is an uncontrolled airport a couple miles south of the Camp Pendelton restricted airspace. The runway is shorter than most paved public runways at 2712 x 75 ft. Its close location to the beach often brings a low cloud bank close to the departure end of runway 24. You wouldn’t believe that by the pictures below as Catalina Island can be seen in the distance.
