Chiriaco Summit: L77

In the 1940s, the airport was built and named Shavers Summit Army Airfield. It was used by the United States Army Air Forces Fourth Air Force. At the end of World War II, the Air Force had no need of it and turned it into a civil airport which is presently known as Chiriaco Summit.
