Chino is controlled by an air traffic control tower and is Class D airspace. The airport has three different runways to handle various aircraft and wind directions. There are a couple aviation museums on the field: Yanks Air Museum and Planes of Fame. Yanks Air Museum has a wide variety of aircraft from Word War I birds to modern civilian aircraft. The unique thing about Planes of Fame is that many of their aircraft are restored and in flying condition.
