I flew out of, and kept my 1958 Tri-Pacer tied down here for 5 years! I love this laid back, beautiful little aerobatics dream airport. 30 miles north of TJ, 26 east of Catalina, 80 miles south of Big Bear, 30 miles west of the Salton Sea, and 10 miles west of Mount Laguna, and the Borrego Dessert. I can’t count the good times I had flying the Colorado River, and Laughlin for lunch. Just outside San Diego’s Lynberg T.C.A, it was well centered for some beautiful flying.

OOOPS! I’m replying to myself!!! I forgot to mention the airport I was referring to above is, “Ramona Field”
