Rialto Municipal Airport was originally called Miro Field. It is located at the base of the Cajon Pass at an elevation of 1,455 ft. It has two runways that intersect each other. Runway 6/24 is most commonly used. When the Santa Ana winds kick up or the wind is blowing down the pass, runway 17/35 becomes active.
